Original Source Information: This isolate was originally collected in April of 2005 as a nasopharyngeal specimen from a 7 year old female in Arizona
Method of Identification Confirmation: The sample was typed by sequencing PCR products of a partial region of the hexon gene (protocol from CDC) and compared to the CEID adenovirus prototypic sequence library and NCBI. Genome typing was done by restriction enzyme analysis.
