Intermediate Term Training


Following 20 hours of preparatory work in the trainee's home country using distance learning technology (at the trainee's convenience), trainees spend one semester (about 4 1/2 months) at the University of Iowa. Trainees enroll in two or more graduate courses and train with a mentor to deepen and/or expand his or her research interests and skills in addition to some of the short term training goals.
