The University of Iowa College of Public Health
Danielle Dahl is a graduate of the University of Iowa and started working for CIREH in January of 2008. She received her BA in International Studies with a focus in International Relations/Politics and Linguistics. She also received a certificate in Entrepreneurship. While at the University of Iowa, Danielle started the University of Iowa Skydiving Club and participated in study abroad programs in Austria and Greece, during which time she learned to speak German and Greek. While abroad she served on the American Kollege of Thessaloniki's student government where she constructed programs there to assist the development/education of several Balkan countries. While in Greece, she also worked at an NGO called Intellectum, taught English to first and second graders and was assistant to the Study Abroad Coordinator. Danielle enjoys the outdoors, cooking, arts and crafts, volunteering, gardening, skydiving, hiking, travelling, ice climbing, singing, smiling, playing guitar, learning new languages, harnessing new skills and accepting new challenges. |
