Epidemiology of allergic diseases in relation to the environment. Current projects include:

  • Allergic Diseases among Children in The Slovak Republic, a project jointly funded by the Institute of Preventive and Clinical Medicine, Slovakia, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.
  • Toxicology as Possible Risk Factor for Allergy Development.
  • A Prospective Laboratory and Epidemiologic Investigation of Allergic Diseases among Central European Children: Placental Uptake and Transfer of Environmental Chemicals Relating to Allergy in Childhood Years.
  • Impact of Placental Contamination on Th1/Th2 Cytokine Secretion in Cord Blood and Allergy Development in Childhood .
