The primary objective of this feasibility/pilot project grant program is to encourage the development of new and creative research, prevention/intervention, and translation projects which promise to lead to more comprehensive studies addressing health and safety concerns of farmers, farm workers, their families, and their communities. Special consideration will be given to proposals promoting collaboration between research groups in Region VII (IA, NE, KS, MO) and other states bordering IA (IL, WI, MN, SD) plus ND.
