About the Center

Center Goals

  1. To implement, evaluate and compare health protection/health promotion models:
    • An intervention based around an integrated worker safety/health promotion committee.
    • An intervention using health counseling to integrate the delivery of health protection and health promotion services in the public sector.
  2. To establish a learning network of interactive partnerships with employers, employee groups including unions, and health organizations. 
  3. To serve as a state and national information, education, and policy resource on employee health programs.
