Let's see, about what I've been up to since I completed my MS in Occupational and Environmental Health (Industrial Hygiene) … in May, 2007, I accepted a temporary position within BP-America's North American Gas (NAG) Business Unit.  Within NAG, I traveled out to numerous oil and gas welling/drilling sites across the southern US and conducted IH monitoring such as: personal noise dosimetry; sound level surveys; air-sampling for hydrocarbons, benzene, zylene, etc.; and performed naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM)-surveys.  Some of the places I've been to include: S. Texas; Farmington, NM; Durango, CO; Baton Rouge, LA; and Midland/Odessa, TX.

In August 2007, I'll be transitioning into a full-time position within the Natural Gas and Liquids (NGL) Business Unit working as an Industrial Hygiene Specialist serving the southern US NGL operations across NM, TX, KS, OK, and LA.  It was an extremely gratifying feeling to see that BP obviously noticed all of my hard work this summer and that they decided to grab onto me and not let me go!  ;-)
