The Iowa Consortium for Substance Abuse Research and Evaluation
Is an alliance committed to strengthening substance abuse prevention and intervention activities through collaborative research. The Consortium coordinates research and knowledge transfer among researchers, assists professionals in the field, and informs public policy makers in the area of substance abuse.

Department of Aging: Living Health & Education Programs
The Department of Aging is actively engaged in ensuring high quality of life for older Iowans. Iowa Association of Community Providers

Iowa Department on Aging
Sanctioned by the Iowa Code, the Elder Affairs Commission is charged with serving as a visible advocate for older Iowans by establishing policies for reviewing and commenting upon all state plans, budgets, and policies which affect elders and for providing technical assistance to any agency, organization, association, or individual representing the needs of elders.

The University of Iowa Center on Aging is an interdisciplinary center that serves as a state and university-wide resource to address the needs of older Iowans. Care Initiatives is Iowa's largest senior care provider. Certified by Medicare and Medicaid, they have nursing homes and assisted living facilities in 53 locations throughout Iowa.

Legal Hotline For Older Iowans
The first place to go to get information and advice about elder law issues.  The Legal Hotline is a special project of Iowa Legal Aid that provides legal advice and other services to Iowans who are 60 or older. 

Iowa Hospital Association
The Iowa Hospital Association (IHA) is a voluntary membership organization representing hospital and health system interests to business, government and consumer audiences. IHA shapes health care policy, provides educational programming, gathers data and monitors health care payment systems.
