Graduate Certificate Program (Kelley Donham, Program Director)
This program trains students to detect safety and illness hazards, and treat and prevent farm-related illnesses and injuries.
The program is available for distance delivery for health professionals located across the country. However, we strongly encourage off-campus students take Rural Health and Agricultural Medicine (175:209) on campus. This course is offered in an intensive five-day workshop in early June. The certificate program is also available for students (at the UI or other colleges) in related health or safety programs who want to supplement other training with agricultural health information.
