Burden of Injury in Iowa Reports Released
The Injury Prevention Research Center and the Iowa Department of Public Health have collaborated to produce first-of-their kind reports which describe the huge burden from preventable injuries to Iowans. These new reports will be a valuable resource for injury control professionals and advocates across the state. Included are tables and charts describing the types and rates of injuries statewide along with county-level information on each of Iowa’s 99 counties.
