in Public Health (CPH) exams to be administered summer 2008. Activate IowaThe new Activate Iowa program provides educational outreach and resources to enhance the health and wellness of Iowans. The first program, Why Sidewalks Are as Important as Surgeons to Your Health, featuring Kent Bottles, MD, VIce President and Chief Medical Officer of the Iowa Health System, took place in Des Moines, Iowa, on November 1, 2007. Best Practices in Local Public HealthThe "Best Practices in Local Public Health" series will resume programming summer of 2008. Future programs will feature the Redesigning Public Health in Iowa initiative, and Multi-State Learning Collaboratives.
