Helping Iowa families and communities in making healthy choices about diet, exercise, alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.
Focusing attention on Iowa's mental health services and on the state's aging population, with special emphasis on assessment, access, and policy development.
Fostering superior, cost-effective health care services.
Promoting excellence in education and research in public health and associated disciplines.
