Strategic Plan

The College of Public Health’s Strategic Plan (PDF) sets forth the College’s mission, vision and themes, its core values, and its goals and primary objectives. It also lists key indicators that will be used to assess progress toward achieving these objectives. Each of the College’s primary objectives directly supports one or more of The University of Iowa’s five strategic goals, as set forth in the University’s Strategic Plan.

Each fiscal year, the College carefully assesses progress made in relation to the strategic plan’s goals and objectives. Implementation of the College of Public Health’s Strategic Plan (PDF) is the annual report of progress.

The College of Public Health Strategic Plan reflects broad input from all collegiate faculty, students, and staff, as well as academic departments, centers, committees, and the Board of Advisors. Guidance for the strategic planning process is provided by the College of Public Health Executive Committee, with the leadership of Associate Dean for Education and Student Affairs Tanya Uden-Holman.
