Distance Education

Mission

The College of Public Health recognizes that learners in the field of public health come from occupationally diverse and geographically dispersed backgrounds that make achieving a graduate degree difficult. Therefore the College of Public Health is dedicated to providing innovative and quality access to some of its academic and informational programs through distance educational technologies.

While there are currently no degrees available solely through the distribution of the distance education learning format, the college does offer a mix of traditional lecture and technology based courses to provide the best possible opportunities for students and professionals interested in public health education.  Additionally, we offer a  Certificate in Public Health which can be earned entirely online.

For more information about the College of Public Health’s distance education program or offerings, contact Raymond Bennett via email ray-bennett@uiowa.edu or phone 319-335-9643.
