- Concepts of toxicology
- Advanced toxicology
- Chemical carcinogenesis
- The natural, biological, and medical sciences in environmental
systems.
Current Research Interests
- Halogenated environmental pollutants.
- The mechanisms of toxicity/carcinogenicity of Polychlorinated
Biphenyls (PCBs), their effects on gene regulation,
their metabolic activation, and the involvement of reactive
oxygen species/oxidative damage in toxification processes.
Please note that the next PCB Workshop is planned for May 18-22, 2008, in Iowa City.
Please watch the series website for more specific information (http://www.pcbworkshop.org/).
