University of Iowa Homecoming 2010
A full week of activities is planned for the UI’s Homecoming week, September 25 – October 2. From a 5K Walk benefitting the United Way to the annual Homecoming Parade through downtown Iowa City to the Hawkeyes’ gridiron matchup against Penn State, alumni and friends of the University will be showing their pride. College of Public Health alumni are invited to participate in all UI Homecoming activities, as well as the following College of Public Health events.
Homecoming Parade - Oct. 1
Organized by student volunteers, the downtown parade features both student and alumni floats, the Hawkeye Marching Band, and the Hawkeye Spirit Squad. View map of the parade route.
CPH Homecoming Tailgate - Oct. 2
Reconnect with friends, classmates, and faculty at the College of Public Health Tailgate 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, on the patio area directly outside the College of Public Health administrative offices in General Hospital (view map). Hot dogs, cookies, and soft drinks will be provided. After the CPH Tailgate, head over to Kinnick Stadium for the 7:05 p.m. kickoff of the Homecoming football game as the Iowa Hawkeyes face Penn State.
