| August 22 | Community and Behavioral Health new student orientation |
| August 23 | MPH Orientation |
| August 26 | Opening of classes 7:30 a.m. |
| August 30 | Last day to add or drop courses without a charge |
| Sept 2 | Labor Day holiday, no classes and UI offices closed |
| Sept 9 | Last day for graduate students to late register or add courses. Last day to drop individual courses in order to reduce tuition and fee assessment. |
| Sept 20 | Last day for tuition and fee reduction for withdrawal of entire registration. |
| Oct 15 | December degree applications due for all graduates |
| Nov 12 | Last day for graduate students to drop individual semester-length courses or withdraw entire registration |
| Nov 24 | Beginning of Thanksgiving Recess |
| Dec 2 | Resumption of classes |
| Dec 11 | Final thesis deposit due at Graduate College |
