Catalog of Unusual Isolates or Specimens

As a service to our collaborators, we offer a number of difficult-to-acquire isolates in this catalogue. These isolates may be acquired by contacting the Contact Person listed on the specimen information sheet and completing an material transfer agreement (MTA). The MTA procedure is simple. The contact person will work with you in drafting language for a standard MTA request.  The MTA request is sent to University of Iowa administrators to draft and sign the MTA. The MTA is then sent to you for your signature.  Once we have received the signed MTA and payment we can ship you the samples you have requested.  It takes between 2 – 4 weeks on average, but we will make an effort to expedite things on our end. Please click on highlighted isolates below to see their information sheets.

Please note: A portion of this catalog has been moved to the Global Pathogens Laboratory at the University of Florida. The new web address is http://gpl.phhp.ufl.edu/catalog/.
