| SEER-Medicare databases |
SEER-Medicare data contains Medicare enrollment and eligibility information and claims history for all persons in the SEER registries who have been matched to Medicare enrollment files and met our sample criteria. SEER diagnostic information for up to 10 cancers is available for each person with the selected cancer. Available cancer cases include all Iowa cancers and the following cancers from the national SEER registries: Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancers, lung cancers, prostate cancers, colorectal cancers, and breast cancers. Medicare enrollment and eligibility information and claims history is also available for a five percent sample of the Medicare population residing in the SEER areas. |
