Thomas Cook

Thomas CookThomas M. Cook, MS, PT, PhD, was the former Director of the Center for International Rural and Environmental Health (CIREH) at the University of Iowa but now serves as an advisor to CIREH staff. He was also a professor of Occupational & Environmental Health, International Studies, and Health Informatics.

Dr. Cook's professional specialties are ergonomics, global health, and innovative uses of information & communications technologies. He has published over 100 scientific papers and has been involved in various educational programs in more than thirty developing countries.
