Danielle Dahl is a graduate of the University of Iowa and started working for CIREH in January of 2008. She received her BA in International Studies with a focus in International Relations and Politics as well as Entrepreneurship.
Danielle has travelled to over twenty-five countries and has lived in four. During her education and travels she acquired proficiency in German and Greek and functional knowledge in Romanian and Turkish. While at the University of Iowa, Danielle started the University of Iowa Skydiving Club, has served as an international student orientation leader and participated in study abroad programs in both Austria and Greece. In her most recent trip abroad -- Fall 2009 -- she interned at the The U.S. Embassy in Bucharest and assisted with the visit of Vice President Joe Biden. On other trips abroad, she has worked for NGO's, taught English, served on student governments, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, and worked in diverse administrative offices. She is currently an active member in Rotary International as well as the Iowa United Nations Association.
