The event will bring together researchers from Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Mece donia, Romania, and the United States. It is meant to establish stronger professional ties among collaborators and trainees within countries and in other countries in order to positively develop policy in the respective countries through collaborative research. The meeting is meant to develop collaborative research which would benefit everyone. For more information, click here.
- 21st-22nd - Mandatory departure orientation for MHIRT students.
- 23rd - MHIRT students leave for 10 to 12 weeks to their perdetermined research sites.

The goals of the Summer Institute are (1) to pr esent and discuss current
topics related to rural and environmental health for the Central European
region, (2) to provide workshops on professional skills, and (3) to
stimulate country and international collaborative relationships among
participants.
