Submitting Specimens

Please do not collect and mail specimens until:

•  You have a oral temperature of at least 100.5°F and have recorded your temperature and the date of this fever on the questionnaire.

•  And you have a cough or sore throat for 4 or more hours.

When you meet these criteria you may collect the nasal swab and gargle sample within 4 days of the development of these symptoms.
