Great Plains Center for Agricultural Health

GPCAH Small Grant Programs

The Great Plains Center for Agricultural Health (GPCAH) is pleased to announce a new round of applications for its small grants program.  Proposals can be from two areas:

  • Basic and applied research projects addressing agricultural safety and health priority issues, needs, or gaps.

  • Community partnering proposals from community-based organizations and entities with special ability to engage in outreach, education, and translation of evidence-based methods for preventing agricultural injury and illness among agricultural workers.

The maximum permitted budget is $15,000 per proposal.  In late May applicants will be notified of merit review results and award decisions.  Funding is contingent on the continued funding of this program by our granting agency.  Following completion of IRB review and approval, funds will be available as of September 30th.  All pilot projects must be completed by September 29, 2014.

We will review all applications received through March 18, 2013.

We ask that you share the RFPs with potential applicants and colleagues inside and outside your organization.  Collaborative and inter-disciplinary applications are encouraged.
