The 25th Annual Healthcare Executive Symposium sponsored by The University
of Iowa’s Department of Health Management and Policy and its alumni will
be held on October 3-4, 2003, at the Sheraton Iowa City Hotel in Iowa City,
Iowa.
This annual event will feature national leaders in the field of health care addressing topics of current interest. This year’s symposium is titled “Preparing Leaders to Bridge the Quality Chasm.” The speakers will include:

- “Developing Clinical Leadership for the 21st Century”
This year’s syposium will feature a panel presentation as well as three concurrent sessions:

Symposium registrants will also have the opportunity to attend The University of Iowa-Michigan football game on Saturday, October 4, 2003, including a pre-game brunch hosted by The University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.
We hope our annual symposium will contribute to participants’ efforts to maintain professional development, and will provide an environment that supports peer interaction and relationship building.
