What interested you in health care?
I have always been passionate about promoting health. Initially I thought of entering healthcare via a clinical field, however, I quickly realized that I could make a larger impact as an administrator. Plus, my skills and personality fit business better than medicine.
Why did you choose Iowa?
Choosing which graduate school I was going to attend was an extremely hard decision for me. I passed up on some highly ranked programs simply because Iowa was a better fit. The program has a rich history with a vast alumni network. Plus, the financial support provided by the program allowed me to focus on my personal/career development rather than having to find a second job to fund my tuition/expenses.
Favorite Grad School Moment
Easily the class trips. They provided a great opportunity for the class as a whole to bond. There are stories from the trips that I will never forget.
Hobbies
Exercising and staying active with sports.
