“It is hard to imagine a better investment than the two years I spent at the University of Iowa pursuing my MHA. The Iowa program shines in both traditionally important and unique ways. Traditionally, the Iowa MHA offers a great educational base with an increasingly enhanced focus on real world practicums. Equally as important, the faculty played a very key role in determining my fit for internship and fellowship placement which has made all the difference in my early success. However, beyond these two key foundations of a good program, the best thing about Iowa is the factors considered in the admission process. The faculty and student advisors understand the crucial role that temperament and relationship building skills have in future success and respond in their admissions appropriately.
