Computer Skills
As you begin work immediately on papers, projects and presentations, it will be helpful if you are familiar with the following computer programs prior to your arrival: Microsoft Excel, Access, Powerpoint and Word. Doctoral students should familiarize themselves with either SAS or SPSS prior to the beginning of fall classes.

Graduate College Website
The Graduate College Website will prepare you for your graduate studies here at the University of Iowa. The Manual of Rules and Regulations contains important rules governing most aspects of your study. A Student Handbook from the Department will also govern your study. This will be distributed during orientation.
