Orientation Schedule/Registration

Department orientation week runs from August 18-21, 2009. Activities planned for this week will give you the opportunity to meet and socialize with fellow students, faculty and professionals and become aware of the expectations.

2009 Graduate College orientation

All new graduate students are invited to an orientation program hosted by the Graduate College at the beginning of the fall semester. The orientation program features representatives from several University and Iowa City offices to explain the wealth of services available for new students. Orientation also offers an opportunity to meet fellow students from other departments and programs. Many graduate programs host a departmental orientation program as well.

Getting Student IDs

You must go to Room 3 Jessup Hall between the hours of 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. You will need to present a government issed photo ID (usually a driver's license or passport). Please check their website for more information.
