Canadian Centre for Health and Safety in Agriculture (CCHSA)
Building on 20 years of leadership in agricultural safety and rural health issues, we have evolved into a new national centre of excellence which has an expanded mandate in the field of agricultural safety, rural health, delivery of training programs and knowledge translation. The Canadian Centre will continue to focus its resources on addressing public health issues related to the agricultural rural ecosystem and bridge gaps that occur between the spectra of basic research, applied research, the community and policy.
Center for Agricultural
and Rural Development (CARD)
Conducts innovative public policy and economic research on agricultural, environmental, and food issues. CARD uniquely combines academic excellence with engagement and anticipatory thinking to inform and benefit society.Communication efforts target state and federal policymakers; the research community; agricultural, food, and environmental groups; individual decisionmakers; and international audiences.

Works to establish strong rural communities, social and economic justice, environmental stewardship, and genuine opportunity for all while engaging people in decisions that affect the quality of their lives and the future of their communities.
Iowa Farmers Union
A general farm organization representing family farmers and ranchers on issues ranging from farm income to rural health care. Farmers Union's primary goal is to sustain and strengthen the family farm agricultural structure in the United States.
Iowa Policy Project
The mission of the Iowa Policy Project is to promote public policy that fosters economic opportunity while safeguarding the health and well-being of Iowa's people and the environment. By providing a foundation of fact-based, objective research and engaging the public in an informed discussion of policy alternatives, IPP advances effective, accountable and fair government.
Iowa Pork Producers Association
The Iowa Pork Producers Association mission is to provide leadership in areas related to the industry in order to enhance Iowa pork producers' opportunity, profit, success and stewardship. The IPPA serves as the voice of Iowa pork producers on the state and national level. The IPPA plays an active role in the rule making process for livestock environmental regulations, air and water quality issues and numerous advocacy efforts.

Mission: To provide leadership in bringing individuals and organizations together to identify and address rural health issues.
National Farmers Union
A general farm organization with a membership of nearly 250,000 farm and ranch families throughout the United States. National Farmers Union is a federation, that represents farmers and ranchers in all states. National Farmers Union's primary goal is to sustain and strengthen family farm and ranch agriculture.
National Rural Health Association
A member-driven organization that provides leadership on rural health issues. The Association values its role in improving rural health care services and thereby positively affecting the public health of rural people and populations.
