Continuing Education Credit

Nurses: The University of Iowa, College of Nursing is Iowa Board of Nursing Approved Provider: Number 1. Full-time attendance at the Midwest Rural Agricultural Safety and Health Conference on November 17-18, 2010 awards 6.9 contact hours.  Full-time attendance on November 17 only awards 3.3 contact hours.  Full-time attendance on November 18 only awards 3.6 contact hours.

Social Work: On October 5, 2005, the Iowa Board of Social Work Examiners changed the rules of social work CEUs.  The Board no longer approves continuing education sponsors, and now directs its licenses to review the continuing education criteria established in the rules.  Social work ECUs will be offered, but it is up to the participant to determine if this program is deemed appropriate for your profession.  If you have questions, please contact the Iowa Board of Social Work Examiners.

General: The University of Iowa awards 0.45 General Education Units (CEUs) for Wednesday, November 17 and 0.3 for Thursday, November 18.
