Substance Abuse Iowa Data Resources
Is an alliance committed to strengthening substance abuse prevention and intervention activities through collaborative research. The Consortium coordinates research and knowledge transfer among researchers, assists professionals in the field, and informs public policy makers in the area of substance abuse.

State Data Center (SDC)
The State Data Center of Iowa is your source for population, housing, business and government statistics about Iowa, including data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Iowa state agencies, and other state and federal sources.

Wisconsin's Department of Health and Family Service—functional screening
The screen is used to determine functional eligibility for certain mental health services, adult long-term care programs and children's long-term support programs. Experienced professionals, usually social workers or registered nurses, who have taken an on-line training course and passed a certification exam are able to access and administer the screen. 

DEA Living Health & Education Programs
The Department of Elder Affairs is actively engaged in ensuring high quality of life for older Iowans. Living, health, and education are important parts of this mission, and DEA and its partners provide many important programs and services in these areas.  This website provides which programs are available.

Iowa Association of Community Providers
The association (IACP) is comprised of over 150 community-based organizations whose missions and core services are consistent with the association.  All member organizations provide quality (licensed and accredited) services to children and adults with mental illness and mental health related issues, mental retardation, brain injury and other developmental disabilities.

Iowa Department of Elder Affairs
Sanctioned by the Iowa Code, the Elder Affairs Commission is charged with serving as a visible advocate for older Iowans by establishing policies for reviewing and commenting upon all state plans, budgets, and policies which affect elders and for providing technical assistance to any agency, organization, association, or individual representing the needs of elders.

Legal Hotline For Older Iowans
The first place to go to get information and advice about elder law issues.  The Legal Hotline is a special project of Iowa Legal Aid that provides legal advice and other services to Iowans who are 60 or older.
