Survey Development and Analysis

Hospitals are frequently being asked to do more with less yet still be able to quickly respond to the changing needs in health care. To do this they need data. It is sometimes difficult to know what data to collect, how to collect it, and how it should be analyzed. The ability to obtain expert assistance and to achieve results is only a phone call away.

IQH Staff can work with your organization to design new surveys, tailor surveys to specific care settings and critique existing surveys. In addition IQH staff can give input on how survey data could be analyzed and provide reports summarizing the findings recommending potential areas for action. Examples of topic areas include:

• Inpatient and outpatient satisfaction surveys
• Physician survey to assess impact of restructuring or other changes at your organization
• Community health assessments
