Research Week
Breast cancer, metastasis, and insulin resistance were the topics of public lectures by three leading experts during Research Week 2007: Growing the Biosciences in Iowa. In 2008, Research Week focused on the topic of innate immunity. Held annually at The University of Iowa and sponsored by the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, College of Public Health, and Iowa City VA Medical Center, the event also includes poster sessions featuring the latest research of UI students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, and staff.
Several members of the CPH community were named poster session award winners in 2007 and 2008, as listed below.
