University of The Gambia Seeking Textbook Donations

Gambia logoThe College of Public Health has had a strong collaboration and exchange of scholars with the University of The Gambia (UTG) in western Africa since 2000. Edrisa Sanyang, an MPH student and GRA from The Gambia, is collecting textbooks to ship to the University of The Gambia’s library. They are in need of books and journals on public health topics as well as medicine, agriculture and environmental sciences, education, business, and a number of other programs.

If you have textbooks or journals (no more than 15 years old) that you would like to donate to UTG’s library, please drop them off by March 1 in the donation box sponsored by the CPH Student Association in the Students Commons area on the second floor of CPHB or in Room 163 IREH. UTG will cover the cost of shipping.
