The mission of public health is to "fulfill society's interest

The Master of Public Health (MPH) is recognized as the primary
professional degree in public health. The MPH program is appropriate
for individuals who already have professional experience and/or
training in public health as well as for health professionals whose
expertise lies outside of public health.
The MPH program prepares students
forpublic health practice by providing instruction in the core disciplines of public
health and exposure to practice settings where these disciplines
are applied. As a capstone experience, MPH students must complete
a 200-hour project in a public health setting.
