College hosts first Drowsy Driving Summit

poster for Drowsy Driving Summit held More than 60 people gathered Thursday at the University of Iowa College of Public Health for what was billed as the first-in-the-nation Drowsy Driving Summit. Researchers, transportation planners, and public officials are working on new ways to reduce drowsy driving, involved in 21 percent of fatal crashes nationwide.
