Quality Improvement, Patient Safety Symposium set for April 6-7

4th Annual Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Symposium:
Innovating for Quality

 

UI Health Care faculty and staff are encouraged to share innovations in patient safety and quality improvement, education, and research at the 4th Annual Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Symposium to be held April 6 and 7 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Works in progress are also welcome.

The poster session will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on April 6 in the Medical Education and Research Facility Atrium. Abstracts are due by midnight, March 23, 2016. Click here to submit an abstract.

The remainder of the symposium program will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on April 7 at the Medical Alumni Auditorium, E331 General Hospital (Elevator BE, Level 3). Topic highlights will include innovations in patient care, education, research, policy, eHealth, and creating a culture of innovation.

Awards sponsored by the Society of Hospital Medicine–Iowa Chapter and the Department of Medicine will be presented for the top posters.  The number of accepted posters will be limited.
