CPH Faculty Awards

Four awards are given annually to recognize faculty contributions in the areas of teaching, research, and service.

CPH Staff Awards

The College of Public Health presents two staff awards to recognize current staff for outstanding accomplishments and contributions that have benefited or brought honor or recognition to the college.

CPH Outstanding Alumni Award

College of Public Health Outstanding Alumni Awards honor “up-and-coming” graduates as well as distinguished alumni who have been in the field more than ten years. The awards recognize alumni for outstanding accomplishments, exceptional promise for future success, and strong interest and commitment to the college’s mission, vision, and goals. It is anticipated that several alumni will be recognized each year.

Richard and Barbara Hansen Leadership Award and Distinguished Lectureship

This award and lectureship honors persons who have demonstrated exemplary leadership in the health field and brings them to the University of Iowa campus for interaction with students, faculty, and public health professionals.
