The University of Iowa's Industrial Hygiene programs
train individuals to prevent occupational disease and injury in
industry, environmental, and occupational sectors.
Candidates for the Master of Science (MS) and the
PhD degrees receive a broad base of learning and experience, with
the built-in flexibility for each to specialize in the student's
area of interest.
Our students experience the "real world"
of industrial hygiene with a hands-on approach to learning. The
program has had many graduates throughout
its history that have gone on to become leaders in the field.
