How to Apply
Application Deadlines for Occupational & Environmental Health
Fall Admission for M.S. or Ph.D.
- February 1 (priority deadline for consideration for financial support)
- May 1 (final deadline)
- Note that we do not consider applications for the Spring or Summer semesters
A complete application to the University of Iowa (UI) College of Public Health is comprised of two parts:
- an application submitted to SOPHAS
- an application submitted to the UI Office of Graduate Admissions
Submit through SOPHAS: SOPHAS Application
- A complete SOPHAS application
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
- Official GRE scores
- Three letters of recommendaton
- Statement of Purpose (two or three paragraphs describing your interest in the program, research interests, and career goals)
- Resume
- Official TOEFL or IELTS score (international students)
