The five member states of the P A TTC have participated in different
projects of technology transfer at different levels characterized
by stages of change. As of December 2002, of the total technology
transfer projects 46.7% were at the implementation stage, 33.3%
were at initiation and 20% were at the impact stage.
In
achieving technology transfer goals, the PATTC engages in a variety
of roles among which include:
•
Carrying out empirical research related to issues of substance
use and abuse
• Curriculum development and preparations for accreditation
applications
• Funding and administrative duties related to organizing
conferences and trainings.
• Soliciting experts in the field of substance abuse to
present at their workshops
• Conducting needs assessments for substance abuse training
issues

achieve it's goals, the PATTC works with a host of partner organizations
