Mr. Ritchie
is the President of the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy,
located in Minneapolis, Minnesota http://www.iatp.org/. The Institute
promotes family farms, rural communities and ecosystems around the world
through research and education, science and technology, and advocacy.
Mr. Ritchie received a B.Sc. at Iowa State University, and master's
degree in International Public Law at The University of Amsterdam. He
has a long list of professional activities and affiliations that are
relevant to agricultural concerns including: board member, Global Traders
Conference; American Agricultural Economic Association; Global Trade
and Environment Policy Consortium; Ecologic Economics Society; reviewer
of the Conservation Ecology Journal; National Chair, Sustainable America;
and a member of the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Institute for
Sustainable Agriculture - to list a few.
