Dr. Winokur
is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases
at The University of Iowa. She received her medical degree from Washington
University in St. Louis, Missouri, followed by a Residency at The University
of Iowa. Dr. Winokur's research interests are in the area of infectious
diseases, particularly in analyzing the molecular basis of antibiotic
resistance.
