Dr. Seemuth
has been a Family Practice Physician in Worth County, Iowa since
1977. Among her experiences and accomplishments are the following: (1)
She served with the American Refugee Committee in Cambodia for three
months, training "Barefoot physicians." (2) She was awarded
the Governor's Volunteer Award for organizing medical groups for relief
during Hurricane Andrew in Florida. (3) Dr. Seemuth served on the Health
Reform Council under Governor Branstad's direction. (4) She served on
the Board of Health, Worth County for three terms, where she assumed
a leadership role in developing health standards for the protection
of citizens of Worth County from environmental pollution due to hog
confinement systems.
