Healthy LifeStars, a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping educate children on healthy life habits and promoting physical activity, will host its annual Step-A-Thon during the week of April 12th through April 16th, 2021. During this week, children and adults alike are encouraged to be healthy and active by logging the most steps for one consecutive week. Funds raised will be used to help combat childhood obesity by supporting under served children and organizations wishing to join the Healthy LifeStars program.
This virtual Step-A-Thon can be done by people of all ages anywhere and anytime during the challenge week by logging daily results online. Participation can be done individually or as a team – business, employee wellness groups, families, sororities, doctor’s offices, church clubs, moms’ groups and more are invited to rally together to fight childhood obesity by raising money via the virtual challenge.
Participants can help Healthy LifeStars raise money by asking friends, family, and business to participate with them in the Step-A-Thon. Prizes will be awarded the adult and child with the most steps during the week.
