Dr. J. David Cowden has joined the pulmonology and critical care medicine team that will be caring for patients when UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital, 1750 E. Ken Pratt Blvd., Longmont, opens later this summer.
Cowden earned a medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Mich., and a master’s degree in epidemiology from The University of Iowa School of Public Health in Iowa City, Iowa. He also served a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Dr. Wendy Carle joined the internal medicine team at UCHealth Longmont Clinic, 1925 W. Mountain View Ave. Carle focuses on preventive care, promoting healthy habits and helping patients take control of their own health, including treatment of asthma, diabetes, hypertension and other chronic medical conditions.
She earned a medical degree from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and completed an internship and residency in a combined program of internal medicine and pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
