Students are invited to apply for a $1,000 Scholarship in Maternal and Child Health (MCH) for the Fall 2026 semester! Application deadline: August 30.

Eligible students include those who:

• Have a genuine interest in emerging public health issues as they relate to maternal and child health.
• Are currently enrolled in a MS, MPH, or PhD program in the College of Public Health.
• Enroll in the MCH Certificate program (contact Sylvia Ayieko [sylvia-ayieko@uiowa.edu] for more information about enrolling).
• Commit to a leadership role in the MCH Student Interest Group and/or organize an event for the MCH group during the semester of the scholarship award(s).
• Attend each of the MCH Student Interest Group monthly meetings during the semester of the scholarship award(s).
• Are citizens or non-citizen nationals of the United States or have been lawfully admitted for permanent residence, as evidenced by a currently valid Permanent Resident Card [USCIS Form I-551] or other legal verification of such status.
