Keith Mueller, Gerhard Hartman Professor in the Department of Health Management and Policy, has been selected by the federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to serve on a Delphi Panel tasked with developing consensus on a standard definition for “rural health equity.”

A Delphi Panel is a selected panel of experts that participate in a structured process to arrive at a group opinion or decision. Specifically, this panel will advise the Health Equity Workgroup within HRSA’s Federal Office of Rural Health Policy and Office for the Advancement of Telehealth on matters related to rural health equity, with the ultimate goal to improve health service delivery to rural and underserved communities. The panel’s initial meeting is scheduled for Dec. 14, 2022.
