Published on March 18, 2021
The University of Iowa College of Public Health has formalized a new institutional agreement with the Nicolai Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) in the eastern European nation of Moldova.
The USMF recently established the country’s first school and undergraduate degree program in Public Health, building on a robust research partnership with Cori Peek-Asa, CPH associate dean for research and professor of occupational and environmental health, as well as the UI Injury Prevention Research Center.
This new partnership is available for both faculty and students who are interested in engaging in public health research and education abroad.
